What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest problem we're facing is lack of money and food. We had low yields last season due to the rains and that left us food insecure which means whatever money we make goes straight to food and nothing else. We do casual work to make ends meet but that still isn't enough for our daily needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When we have money we buy meat or fish. This makes us happy that we've eaten nice food. Without that, we eat vegetables all month. So eating meat makes us happy.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
When I receive this money, i will buy food and then put iron sheets on the boys quaters we have here. I will also buy livestock to add to the goats I already have. I will also use it to start a vegetables selling business for it to provide for our daily needs.
