What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The money was spent on zinc and other building materials for the purpose of building my house which I have started doing already. I want to build a house because I am living within my grandmother house, I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for this change in my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference between the time in between is that, I didn't own a house before especially at my age. But right now I am building a house and hoping to complete it anytime soon all because of GiveDirectly assistance towards us. My family and I live together but also have a child and husband who need some privacy out of my grandmother house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when I receive the message of the money on the phone, I felt so excited to the extent I didn't go to school. I was like wow, so finally I am a part of GiveDirectly program. I thought buying zinc to build a house of my own because there was already a land.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My spouse is a hunter, and as such, we survive through the sales of animals he kills to sustain us. The money we get from the sales of meat is not sufficient to take on other family responsibilities. With this, we are currently challenged with the lack of cash to mitigate these challenges.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have been out of school since April due to a lack of money. My bigger brother who lives in Zwedru city sent me school fees this gone August to go back to school. This borough me so much joy and happiness.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Last year, I completed the last level of Zaliken town school, as such, I am to attend another school in Polar town. I haven't been able to attend due to the lack of funding. If I am qualified to receive the cash transfer, I will use half of the transfer to pay my school fees and the balance half to start a business.
