What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm getting old and I don't have much energy, living like this without even having enough land to cultivate is my greatest challenge. I only have a small land of my own which can not produce enough food to eat , I have to rent in order to be able to survive and currently I am not able to get any fertiliser because i don't have any livestock.
I am always weak and no body can hire me to work for them i have to survive with the little i get.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Being able to end the year safe and sound has brought happiness to me; not being able to work and earn some money was not easy but I am very thankful because i was able to get trough that period.
I used to live in the dark because we didn't have electricity but now , i am happy that our village received solar panels to use, I no longer hit my head walking in the dark at night and now we have received modern stoves preparing my meal is no longer a challenge for me.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing I plan to do is to buy livestock because i don't have any , I will buy a goat for $50 and a pig for $80 to give me fertiliser and i also plan to use the first installment on my house renovation putting on new metal sheets and the balance I will buy clothes , matress and food to eat.
The second installment i plan to buy a land for $200 and seeds to use in that land and the balance I plan to save it and use it in my future needs.
Receiving this money is a happy opportunity for me , I will no longer worry about starving because i will be getting what to eat and i will be able to rest easily.
