What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is to get money to finish my house. Growing up my siblings and I have been sleeping in one room with our parents due to sleeping space until I meet my husband. I don't want that to happen to my children because I want them to have better and enough sleeping space. Moreover seeing my children and me sharing the same room is difficult for me but I don't have money to finish my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy or happiness in the last 6 months is hearing about such a wonderful opportunity from Give Directly. I was happy because I have been wishing to get money to finish my house for my children to have their sleeping room.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the cash transfer I will continue the small business that I'm doing and finish my house. I have been living in this unfinished building for the past three years and I am not comfortable with this kind of condition. I want to finish my house so my children will be able to have their room. The unfinished building that I'm living in has three rooms but only one room is completed My children and I are sleeping in one room due to sleeping space. Though I make small business the money I earned from the small business is what I used to pay my children's school fees. I will also use some of the money to buy goods to add to my business
