"Investing in rental houses is what has been my main mission. Upon getting the second transfer, I used $200 to construct a mud-walled two-room rental house because the place I stay is strategic. I stay near a secondary school and students need accommodation. Currently, I am happy because the rooms are already occupied by tenants and I am assured of getting rental money at the end month, This is enabling me to sustain my family. Thereafter, I opted to invest by buying a cow that will in the future produce milk both for sale and for family use. For the remaining amount, I opted to keep it for the family's upkeep in terms of buying food and other emergencies."

"By the time I received the second transfer, I had already planned on building a new spacious house because the one I had was very small and on the verge of collapsing. Therefore, I constructed a two-room mud-walled house with an iron sheet roof. I can't tell you how much it cost because my helper was in charge and due to illiteracy I could not keep track records of the expenditure. Currently, I am a happy woman sleeping in a nice secure house. The fear I had due to the state of the initial house is no longer there, courtesy of GiveDirectly. After that, I bought a goat to mark the presence of GiveDirectly at my home. Fortunately, the goat gave birth which is a sign of multiplication and soon I will have several goats. used the remaining amount For the remaining amount I opted to buy some food. Hunger was a challenging factor since we have been without rain for the last three farming seasons."

"We don't have enough fertiliser to use in our land , to be able to get inorganic fertiliser which is quite expensive we have to work for others to be able to pay for it and sometimes we are not able to get that money and we just use organic fertiliser which doesn't give enough harvest as we want. Me and my husband cyprien we are always sick we have to go to the hospital most of the times which is not easy for us to pay our bills, we had to sell all our small livestocks to be able to pay for the hospital bills."
