Pauline
received an initial payment.
"I was living in a small hut that was too small for my family of six. There was a lot missing in the house, and while I could not afford to buy it, the available space could not accommodate them. When I received the first transfer, I needed a bed, new bedding, and furniture, which I had to prioritize over everything else. During my first week on the transfer, I went to a nearby carpentry shop and paid $110 for a new bed and furniture that had yet to be made. I returned home and began building a new house, which has so far consumed $150 of my first transfer. Even though the building is not finished yet, I am hoping that the second transfer will help with the roofing and furnishing before bringing in the new furniture from the workshop. After repaying a $80 debt, I also paid school fees for my five children, who are currently in primary school. They are now happily studying in school with no disruptions. In addition, I spent $100 on food that we are still consuming and the remainder on paying the labor force for the construction work."
