Joyce
received a $425 initial payment.
"Before receiving my transfer, my children had accumulated school fee arrears. My husband and I do not have some formal engagement, and we constantly struggle to raise money for fee payments. The worst case for us was that my daughter, Eunice, currently in form four had fee arrears of $180. I prioritized spending $300 on paying school fees for all my children. In addition, I opted to spend $30 on food. Since, my son Emmanuel was promoted to grade 7, I spent the rest on his fees. I am glad that both of them can comfortably learn. I have witnessed a tremendous difference in my life since then."

Sidi
received a $27 tenth payment.
"It's been my desire to own more goats which to me are financial security for the family. Thus, my current goal is to buy a goat every month and keep them in my compound. I do not have a source of income that I can depend on currently. I believe that once the goats reproduce and increase in number, I can readily sell them to cater to my financial needs."

Sharlet
received a $425 initial payment.
"Owing to the current drought and famine ravaging the country, I prioritized spending $200 on food. Foodstuff acquired could take my family for over two months. My family is relatively small, with just four members. In addition, I spent $140 on building small kiosks for business. I had desired to start a business, but this could not work out because we were always financially challenged. Once it is complete, I shall begin selling vegetables in it. I am optimistic it will be an alternative source of income. As a result, I shall be able to realize additional income. It will enable me to venture into other opportunities, such as raising livestock."

Christine
received a $27 tenth payment.
"It had always been my wish to get from the level I am to a greater level in life. I want to have a cattle-rearing project and to achieve this, I would start by buying goats and chicken, keep them for some time and later sell and buy cattle. I believe that the project would be of help in terms of milk production and farming."

Amina
received a $27 sixth payment.
"In the coming years, I hope to construct a decent, spacious house for my children. Currently, they are sleeping at their uncle's house, which I feel is not right since he has his own family as well. Therefore, I believe that once I get sufficient cash, I will purchase the materials and put up one. This will grant them privacy, and their dignity will also be restored. "
